About
Lemonade Day
Calgary
Lemonade Day Calgary, a part of Lemonade Day National, is a free, experiential program that
gives youth grades K-8 a taste of entrepreneurship. By starting their first business — a lemonade
stand — youth gain the foundational skills to succeed in life and achieve their dreams.
Why Tiller brought
Lemonade Day to Calgary
Tiller is a multi-million dollar web and brand agency with 30+ employees serving software companies in Canada and the U.S. But it was founded by a teenager who got a taste of entrepreneurship and never looked back.
“I learned the basics of sales and profit margin on the golf course when I was 8 years old. My dad took my sister and I to the store and bought cans of soda. He taught us how to strategize and make a profit — 25 cents at a time. While seemingly insignificant at the time, these lessons I learned as a kid prepared me to launch Tiller at 19 years old. Years later, I’m still living my entrepreneurial dream! And I can’t think of a better way to give back than introducing the next generation to entrepreneurship and inspiring them to achieve their dreams too.”

Lemonade Day Entrepreneurs, 2023
I want to put up a lemonade stand every year until I earn enough money to start my own business.
Shriya, Age 8
Lemonade Day Entrepreneur, 2023
I met my goals. I learned A LOT. I have $20 for a toy, $60 for the Children’s Hospital, and lots to put in the bank.
Charlie, Age 6
Lemonade Day Entrepreneur, 2023
I was a little scared no one would want to buy my lemonade, but I did it anyways. And I made up my own jokes to tell people.
Fern, Age 6
Lemonade Day Entrepreneur, 2023
The hardest thing I faced was talking to people. I felt shy at the beginning, and then I learned it was better to be brave and friendly.
